(More customer reviews)I opted for this thermometer over less-expensive units because I wanted something that was reliable and accurate. The first time I used it, the maximum indicator would not reset using either the reset button or the magnet. Now I have the hassle of returning it and finding another thermometer that works.
Any resemblance to the high-quality Airguide min/max thermometer of years ago is strictly cosmetic.

Small floats are pushed to each temperature extreme by the two mercury columns and stay there until reset with the attached magnet or by pushing the red button on the front.
