(More customer reviews)So far I'm loving my purchase. It's a very compact pitcher and will fit just about anywhere. The lid does form an airtight seal provided you turn it. I tested this by flipping the pitcher upside down and there was no leakage. The opening is large enough to fit your hand through for easy cleaning.
The glass is very thick and pretty heavy. The lid is made of plastic and the company couldn't verify for me if it was BPA free or not. They said that companies in Europe are not yet testing for this in their plastics. Seeing as your beverage shouldn't be touching the top rim of the plastic, this should be a non-issue anyway.
Overall I've been using this to store tea at my work and it's working out quite well.
