The unit is very lightweight, like a glorified cooler, leaving me feeling like I overpaid for this.... The good? The only sound comes from two quiet fans. At the warmest possible setting it holds a steady 60 degrees, which is just what I wanted. Perfect for storing things in a "cool, dry place" during the summer months. I expect it to use very little electricity, and it makes for a nice little alternate fridge!
