(More customer reviews)After I had the icemaker for about one month, it failed. What I believe happened was that the heating element that is glued to the ice trays became detached to the ice tray, so the ice cubes couldn't be ejected. It didn't even appear that it was glued to it in the first place. So fortunately I kept my old icemaker and I replaced just the ice tray part with the heating element firmly attached but kept all the new parts. Now it has been working for months like a champ.
So the moral of the story is, keep your old icemaker until your new one is up and running.
